A new walk

Following up on last weekend’s different walk we did another today.

Recommended by my parents we headed to Andrew’s Wood (near Polhill Garden Centre) and walked across the bridge over the M25 into the woods, across the fields and up and down hills to and from Shoreham.

There was a field of buttercups at one point which L (and I) ran around in.

There was also a bit of big sky which was lovely (with a view across the Darent valley) which is what we have been lacking on our daily lockdown exercise walks so far.

This afternoon N cleared out the Wendy House in the garden - we inherited it when we bought the house and it’s quite run down... we have been using it as a shed. However, it is now L’s playhouse and she’s very excited about it, even with no furniture and decor etc.
