Rainbow of hope

All through the last two months or so, rainbows have been springing up everywhere. Pebbles towers in rainbow colours, pictures in windows, stained glass rainbows, all sorts. A couple of weeks ago, someone released a photoshopped photo of a rainbow on one of our hospital buildings. So many people said how brilliant it was and were quite disappointed when it wasn’t real. Now, thanks to a local sign painter, it is real! He has spent the last few days painting the building with this amazing symbol of hope. I absolutely love it. Guernsey has been incredible as a community through this pandemic and this is a very positive reminder of that.
