Recycling the Shard

Well the surprise weekend has got underway.

No price for recognising the Blip. The extras show another cycle shop in the locality. Certainly different to Nip Nip}.

Another spell in the kitchen baking a four layer sponge. Oh dear the layers looked like frisbees at the end of the process. I was rather silly and choose to use the metric weights in the recipe book. 100 grams do not equal 4 ozs.  So the ingredients were 88% of what they should have been. However I have been able to create something from them. 

We then had to go out and buy a cake. This was the first time we were brave enough to go out to a food shop in the middle of the day. M&S looked ok to go in. It was being well controlled and there were few people about. On our way round the shelves I noticed caster sugar and golden sugar so we were able to get a couple of boxes.

Whilst we were in the shop the heavens opened. It bucketed down with rain and hail. The smell afterwards was so fresh. Just a short way from our flat and the heavens again opened up. We were only in the rain and hail for 30 seconds but we got drenched.
