Caught with his pants down.

I spent a happy morning painting a wall whilst listening to broadcasters and politicians argue the toss about whether or not it is/was OK for BoJo's PPE (Preferred Policy Editor) to backdate a redefinition of what does or does not constitute “essential travel” under lockdown to suit his own circumstances.

Is Dominic Cummings so utterly friendless that he cannot find another soul within a 250 mile radius prepared to care for his four year-old while both parents are laid low with Covid-19?

What about Jacob Rees-Mogg's nanny? Surely she can manage the napping requirements of a four year-old? She's already looking after one.

But while all these good folk were discussing what had already taken place, the elephant in the room was surely what is the likely outcome for the future of UK lockdown? I don't think it takes a Social Scientist to work out that if The Dark Knight is given leave to behave according to his own unwritten rules then within 24 hours the rest of the British population will follow suit. 66 million people making up the rules to suit themselves.

All out mutiny. Is that a price BoJo is prepared to pay for Dominic's anointed head?

Next on my list for today is to watch a 1950's black-and-white comedy film on YouTube simultaneously with all my new chums in the DMs.
