Poppies

During the VE75 wreath laying two weeks ago we noticed that the Poppies on the bench seat adjacent to the War Memorial had lost their paint so I decided to paint them when it was quiet.
The two small cans of enamel arrived Monday so I took myself up there today, as much as I enjoyed painting them it was the couple of hours sat in the warm fresh air waiting for the paint to dry that I most enjoyed.
I still feel slightly under the weather, more like a heavy winter cold than one of the summer type ones.
A little shopping en route home and following dinner tonight some home made Key Lime Pie donated by a friend.

Samantha is home tomorrow.
