Long Day

Not much to photograph today. This is my stepfather's old toolbox when he worked for NY Bell Telephone. Seems like a long time ago.

The home nurse and Mom's doctor insisted that she go to the ER because she is still running a fever today. She is weak, gray, and unable to eat anything. We chose a different hospital because of our constant battles to get her compassionate and diligent care at the original hospital. The new hospital was terribly busy. But they were thorough and quite caring. Their test results showed that Mom did not need hospitalization again, thankfully. With some IV fluids and antibiotics, Mom perked up and started smiling again. Phew. All this suffering is getting old pretty darn fast. I hope we can get past this, please!
