Safe Haven

You see, this morning the Duck Shooting season started.  These ducks are safe here away from the people with guns.  So far I haven't heard any news about how the day is going for the thousands of shooters.  It is cold and grey!

I had a nice walk to the lake and back, am now sitting in front of the fire.  My niece had a baby daughter this morning, we are thrilled for her and her hubby.  They already have a son, who is so pleased to have a little sister.  Time for a nice hot chocolate.
