Free blip day!

In my journal earlier this week, I was banging on about getting a point-and-shoot camera to use on all those occasions where a big one would be impractical.

Well I got this one - which happens to be exactly the same as Flicks, except that it's black and newer.
Well, I say newer - it happened to be the last one for sale anywhere in the country (probably), and the box it came in was slightly worse for wear, and for that matter, it didn't have that protective film on the screen...
When I unpacked the battery, I could see that this was not new. One-nil to the camera shop.

When I unpacked the charger, I discovered a brand-new battery sitting inside it.
Blimey - one all!

I'm not sure whether to go back to the shop, or to declare it a draw.

Anyway, I took this shot of the new camera to put paid to the notion that cameras don't grow in trees.

This has been a period with a few dry-blip days, but when you get a new camera, you know exactly what to blip. So this is a free blip day for me.

I'd like to have a few more easy blips, but I can't afford the cameras.
