Deep Sleep

This is Bramble sleeping off a huge tea, she didn’t even stir when we rustled a crisp packet . She perked up later and we had a pleasant evening walk , nothing caught my eye hence her picture appearing . She is my “go to ,” subject if there is nothing else.
The weather has featured wild winds which whipped around the house depositing a load of litter in the front garden. We live in a corner house which seems to cause the air to vortex and bring rubbish off the street only to land in the garden . 
Spoke to Jess earlier , she was delighted to report that, for the first time in his 14 months , he slept for 5 hours . Usually he just catnaps . She should have been back at work after a year of maternity leave but she had one week and was then furloughed which is good as she is deeply tired and wasn’t keen on leaving him . She is due back at the end of June when hopefully we will be able to have him . 
It’s no good making plans as who knows what will happen between now and then . 
Generally a happy day, especially as we managed two walks .
