Beech Wood delights

A wild day here in Pickering. Strong winds brought down a lot of leaves and small branches. The lower wood was fortunately sheltered from the full force of the wind. This was the wood in the early part of May.Beech Wood

A day for indoor jobs and whiling away time reading and researching. Managed to fit in a bit of letter writing too. I can’t remember the last time I wrote a letter. After I posted it there was a news item about sending cards and letters. Seemingly I am not the only one to revert to this form of communication.
