Covid weather

This weather just goes on and on, despite any negative westher forecasts. So pleased we’ve been out for early morning walks all week, except for today as an email went back and forth for editing between me and a neighbour, before sending to the managing agents. Will produce the final version as soon as this blip is posted.

So got out at midday. The usual walk. Sunny and mild, but very blowy. Lunch, then more work on the email, followed by the Government briefing (announcing travellers arriving from June 7 will have to do 2 weeks quarantine, travel to their destination by car (‘preferably’ ????? !!!!! not by public transport), and disclose where they will stay, so random checks can be made. Offenders will have to pay £1,000 fine (so fine for the super rich).

In other news, some folk are unbelievable. See below. The rules now say you can travel anywhere in England for the day, Ideally not far, but you must return home the same day. NB Sandbanks is where the rich and famous have second homes costing £Millions.

We were going to have wine on the lawn, with and offered by E, but the wind put paid to that. Maybe tomorrow, but that looks windy too.
