Alfred arrives

The evening arrival of MV Alfred often seems to coincide with our evening walk.

Pre-Covid 19 that would be bad planning, and might involve waiting at the roadside for a stream of vehicles to pass as they came off the boat and headed into Kirkwall.

At the moment travel is limited to freight, key workers and islanders making essential journeys only. Barely a trickle of traffic.
