Bread of Heaven (part 2)

Today’s bake is a pain de mie loaf. The nearest thing the French get to a sliced white. This one was baked in Rob’s great grandmother’s tin from the 1920s and it has her initials punched on it as it would have been taken to be baked in a communal oven in the valleys.
