In the making
I promised my hubby Pierogi with cabbage and mushrooms.
Its not any cabbage, its slowly cooked sauerkraut with loads of garlic, onions, hand picked wild mushrooms, spices and soft prunes.
I add few more things but keeping a secret :)
I've prepared the filling about two weeks ago and it was beautifully mixing up in the airtight container in the fridge.
For kids sweet version of Pierogi with strawberries or blueberries served with single cream and scattered with sugar, the way I always had it when was a kid. Must see Extra Photo attached.
