A Mixed Day

Our morning walk took us through the bushland from Mindarie to Burns beach, its the second time we have walked along this pathway, today we walked until we reached the end of this recently laid pathway, its not yet completely finished, with both suburbs having to come up with the funds to complete it.
After lunch i had an appointment in Joondalup, afterwards we stopped off for a walk down to the lake at Neil Hawkins regional park, there were hundreds of waterbirds on the lake, we have never seen so many, there were black Swans, Pelicans, coots, Mallards, and the common black ducks.
Its been another glorious day, with that said its all abut to change on Sunday afternoon, there is a cyclone sitting just of the coast and its said to be the storm of a decade, packing 135km winds, tomorrow we batten down the hatches, move the outdoor chairs and bring in the cushions!
