Abstract Thursday - Favourite colour

I like many colours, but my favourite is purple.  This bunch of pretty Aubretia flowers is the only colour in a sad, otherwise bare flowerbed - they disappear in the winter, but always come back beautifully in the Spring.  I thought this effect looked a little like cross stitch.  Original in extras.  Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting.
