A Devon bee on allium.
An early morning tempo ride took me to Westward ho from where I returned via the narrow lanes hugging the Atlantic Ocean.
Patio and pathways were then given a much needed spring clean using the pressure washer. My usually inquisitive gardening assistant Dougal the cat was not keen on the racket coming from the yellow machine, he was unusually absent from my side during the whole process!
After a light lunch Auntie suggested that a trip to the recently reopened garden shop at nearby RHS Rosemoor would be an efficient way for her to get her daily exercise. Here humans were far outnumbered by very busy bees, Swallows, Goldfinches and at least 8 Buzzards wheeling high above us.
More patio cleaning preceded a paella and fresh raspberry pavlova.
An inaugural zoom meeting by my Aunts church group providing the final entertainment for Ascension day. I hope that they are able to iron out their teething problems
