Duck Feather

This is a remnant of our Pekin duck which was taken by a fox. His mate was heartbroken and quacked loudly for a day. It was very sad, but she seems much better now and has become fast friends with the grey hen. Today we let the guineas out into the pen (extra). They tried to fly  but couldn't get over the fence. It is only a matter of time. Meantime, they have taken over the run-in. Bert and Ernie are not sure about the guineas, but are making it loud and clear that they are not sharing their food with the chickens.
