Lily of the Valley
I found this small lone lily of the valley underneath a flowering currant that has overtaken a part of the garden. I have cut it back somewhat and plan to buy some loppers at the end of the month to attack all the shrubs that have got out of hand!
Started the day with a three mile walk with Moira, it’s so much nicer to walk and talk, and boy did we talk! We walked the coast path to St Mary’s Bay and back via the golf course. We weren’t ready for home, so sat on the beach and chatted before going our separate ways.
Back home I had a zoom call with the team, baked some chocolate cupcakes, just to use up the ganache I over calculated for the meringues yesterday and then pottered in the garden for a couple of hours before I got too hot!
Did the virtual pub quiz with Mr L, two sons, one daughter in law, one granddaughter and three friends! TV on for the quiz and two iPads, one on houseparty and one on zoom. Loud, noisy and fun!
