Space for trees
21st May 2020
Tree planting has now been a significant element of our work in Malawi for the past few years.
Our Forestry team of Harisen, Lovemore Florence and Boyd spent the last few days in and area called Chitipa, in the far North of Malawi, close to the Tanzanian border.
They were checking of the trees planted this season and planning for next season.
This view shows the vast mountainous areas available for planting
They were also taking polygons so that all the areas planted can be mapped and observed on Google Earth satellite images and then later by Drone flights for better definition images.
