NHS clapping evening gifts

Down our end of the village we stand on the grass verges outside our houses as we nearly all have high hedges in front of our gardens. So we have now become a regular sight on a Thurs evening. Passing cars and deliver vans beep us and wave. This evening we were given a dozen eggs per family by a passing market stall owner who had over ordered. A bit later the manager of a local pub who knew one of our neighbours stopped and gave us a box containing a bottle of prosecco, a bottle of wine and some beer, not sure why or what we will do with it! Not sure food banks accept alcohol.

Delighted that the PM has reversed his decision to continue charging our overseas NHS and care home workers for using the NHS. Now that is worth celebrating!
