Out for a bike ride this morning. A tough climb up onto the edge of the moors. The bonus is a fast downhill descent back onto the Vale of Pickering. A few heavy drops of rain threatened to soak me but fortunately it never materialised and I made it back in the dry.

Spotted a new roadside addition and given it was Thursday stopped for a photo. 

This afternoon had a ride to Dalby which opened at the weekend. It was busy down by the visitor centre with people either walking or biking. We drove up to the Adderstone car park which is large and gives access to lots of trails. Most families seemed happy to stay and play in the field. We had a wonderful walk and saw no one. Good to have this close to home but will avoid it at the weekend to avoid any crowds.
