Calling 101

On our walk this morning we came across a family trying to help a man on his mobility scooter. The scooter was knackered ( the front axle was broken) and the man had no family to help. To complicate matters he also had a dog. I phoned the police and they arrived promptly after 20 mins, and took the man, his dog and the scooter away. The moral of this story is don’t try and drive your mobility scooter on uneven tracks; and also don’t try to lift one on your own, as 3 strong looking PCs struggled get this scooter into the back of the van.
