The Phonecall

That the octogenarian are able to answer the facetime call is testament to how tech savvy they are.

At first they found it all amazing and wondered at the visual and audio all together in a small hand held device.

Now they are used to it.

They no longer take the time to hold the phone carefully, they don't bother watching the screen and look around their own room and out their window.

They no longer listen to us, instead they treat us to a Truman Show style chat about their day, their shopping deliveries and their neighbours passing by.

It's mildly amusing. Zoom next I think.
