Making a nettle liquid fertiliser
Another good few hours in the poly tunnel and garden once the rain stopped. I rarely cut off nettles always in the hope of spotting a ladybird, not one in twenty years. I read recently about making a fertiliser from them and giving it a go, nettles in a bucket of water.
John was weeding under the fruit bushes (blackcurrant, gooseberry and Worcesterberry) then disappeared for a few minutes, next seen looking rather sheepish and wet. He was checkIng the water level in the burn and a wall they had built to see if it needed more work when he toppled over. One wet leg and bum.
And the big fellow looking sweet and innocent, this was just before the second attempt to climb up the poly tunnel.
