Field of Foxgloves!

I dropped some brioche and a book round to Nellie of The woods on our morning walk. They were sitting on their new decking which looks down upon this magnificent display of foxgloves! I had to scramble down to take this photo - and then scramble back up! Given the sharp incline it was a little precarious! The book was recommended to me by blipper 60plus. Once Upon a River by Diane Setterfield. Such a good read.
Since the easing of the lockdown the woods have become much quieter and I only met another couple with their black lab. It's so good to have the woods back to myself! I have no intention of venturing further afield and meeting up with lots of people!
