Rose

Probably Rosa canina , although I recently discovered that there are at least four native varieties of wild rose around. This one is slowly taking over the forsythia bush in the corner of the allotment (encouraged by all the guano, no doubt). It has a faint but delicious scent.

Gosh, it was hot!
