Extraordinary

Next Doors would be the first to admit that they have a problem with a massive  40 year old palm tree growing in their front yard.  It's too tall to climb up and chop off the spent fronds, and they are so dead that they are falling off.  Even worse they are being blown off by the recent high winds.

This is the end of one that landed on the front grass verge over night.  Just look at that extraordinary colour and texture.  It looks like highly polished mahogany.

Very beautiful, but I wouldn't like to be hit on the head by one.
