Sea Swim

Lockdown Day 59

The temperature exceeded the forecasted 17 degrees and reached 23 degrees, there was no wind and sea was calm. So after not a particularly great morning at work, it felt good to get down to the beach and have my first sea swim of the year.

There were quite a lot of people on the beach but everyone was keeping a safe distance from each other, and I found a secluded spot to leave my things and headed off into the sea. I expected it to be very cold but actually it didn’t feel bad at all and I really enjoyed it.

When I got home I went straight into the hot tub which felt very warm in comparison, and then we ate dinner sat on the terrace, it was such a lovely evening.
