Steps

Now we’re allowed to travel a short way, we drove up to Middlewood way. It’s the old railway line and is now for horses, walkers and cyclists. We had a lovely walk and spotted these steps so I had to go up and have a look. They only led to the road between Poynton and High Lane. We also had a walk round the old brickworks site which is now a nature reserve. We didn’t spot any wildlife though. MrM was a bit disappointed not to walk along the canal towpath but it’s a marina with people who live on the boats so I thought we shouldn’t walk there. He agreed that it was getting too hot anyway. There’s plenty of shade on the old railway line.
