A walk in the distance

I had organised a birthday Zoom for Carol at 10 am which was 9pm for Ailie in NZ. It was nice for the 5 of us to get together for a chat. Ailie is getting a bit homesick. She’s been away for 5 months.

In the afternoon it was very hot. #3 daughter and co came with their picnic to eat in the garden and we all had a walk in the woods. Mr C and I trailed along quite a distance behind. Ella and Nathaniel played Indiana Jones around their dens and on the rocks. It was a lovely change for them. And lovely for us despite staying away band of course no hugs.

It’s been a lovely relaxing day.
