Dry but still wet

It is almost always wet underfoot at Wet Sleddale. But not today after all the dry weather. A beautiful day. The reservoir was noticeably lower than usual, but looking rather good in the sunshine. Hazy over the Shap Fells though. There were a number of cars in the car park and a few family groups down by the river. Wet Sleddale lies just within the boundaries of the Lake District, so maybe none of us should have been there at all.
