Spare Parts

It is 31.1.13 (palindromic date) and I have been beaten by Freuchie but have managed to beat Jellyfox, Tig and a few other of my date buddies! :))

Today has been a bit non-stop! Woke early to head to Sharjah to buy more of those cheerful plates. G came back with a compact deep fat fryer too. We wanted to get home ASAP so tried a different route which took us through Sharjah's Industrial area.

Honestly, if you are looking for ANYTHING, you have got to be able to find it here! Used car anyone? Parts? A door perhaps?

What you can't see in this frame is the topless Toyota that is parked. It doesn't have too many side doors either. The boot is intact as are the back lights. My Dad used to come here (to the area) to get spare parts for my vintage Volvo. Wish I'd gone with him as I am struggling to get parts now.

The [foolishbrave] cyclist is driving on the wrong side of the road - against the traffic. They tend to do that here as driver's don't seem to "see" cyclists on the road.

We have repacked our stuff for the car book sale tomorrow morning - all put into smaller more manageable size boxes. Car loaded and ready to go. Early start (groan). Hopefully, almost nothing will come back.
