She slept poorly, on edge all night with storm noises from wind driven rain. She also knows the remedy and has made herself cozy for today to make up that lost cat sleep. The morning drive to the train was wet and wild.

This day came in wet and stormy. Overnight conditions were terrible, lashing rain with a very severe windstorm. Isolated wind gusts up to 80mph, along with record breaking warmth. It was 59 degrees f early this morning, the warmest since 1885. We had a brief period of sun, now clouds and falling temps back to normal winter levels. Snow in the forecast.
