Egmont ahoy !

Some group activities are now allowed in NZ and so  ,today our walking group had our first walk for 8 weeks. It was another glorious day and we climbed to the top of our local mountain, Mount Karioi 250 metres a.s.l.
Hundreds of kilometres to the south is Mount Egmont, also known as Mount Taranaki. Today's clear conditions gave a great view of Mount Egmont.
