AVALANCHE

Today is my Birthday so what better way to spend it by walking to the Alpine village of Murren high above the Lauterbrunnen Valley in the snow and Spring- like sunshine.

Although I was in perfectly calm conditions the winds high on the Wengernalp mountain were setting off mini avalanches. I managed to capture this one which I think has resulted in my picture of the week.
