Supper

Usually by this point in the year, I have blipped both Meadow Pipit and Curlew. There are plenty of both around locally, but the opportunity hasn't presented itself. On an evening walk, both were within shooting distance, today, but by the time I saw the curlew, the light was fading , so it was the backlit Pipit with supper for youngsters that bagged the place. We also saw Grey Partridges, a Wheatear and a couple of Hares.
