... Taunton Deane, and I am licensed to thrill.  

This is my new pet.  A kale.  I got him as a stem cutting a month or more ago and have been cosseting him ever since.  I am pleased to say he is now twice the size he was so must have struck good roots by now.  I'll get him in the ground before long I imagine.
