Misty light

Our decent weather has really gone on holiday. April was warm and sunny and May is damp, chilly and breezy - just as well we don’t have visitors - May is usually our best month. After lunch the sky seemed to brighten so took my chance and headed out. Saw a female blackbird taking a worm into a nest and then a male and female shelduck with their brood of about 10 ducklings - never count the ducklings! They won’t all survive. Ringed plover, lots of oystercatchers and common gulls. The light was quite special at the sea end of the loch but the clouds lowered and I made it back before getting a soaking. Didn’t see a car or a person the whole time
