First wild swim on the season

For the last 6 years, myself and two friends have been having our annual first wild swim of the season on the 18th May. Unfortunately lockdown means I can't get to the reservoir and couldn't swim with my friends even if I could. The other two were able to find open bodies of water to put themselves in but I wasn't able to. In solidarity I threw the shower down to cold cold and had a very invigorating dip in the bathroom instead.

I zapped the water with the thermal temperature gun afterwards. 11.2'C! Chillier than Harlaw is at this time if year by a good 3 degrees.

Yes I'm crazy but some traditions need to be upheld!
