WITH A SONG IN MY HEART

I'll Show You Me Drawers!

I've had a cleaning day!
Frank had to go to the house today as his prescription was ready to collect but the surgery wasn't open till 3pm today, so he went early on so he could put a load of washing on and spend the time he had to wait practising keyboard.
I took advantage of being alone on the boat. Some of you might think it a waste to spend the day cleaning but in such a small space it's impossible to empty and scrub the cupboards and drawers when someone else frequently needs to get past.
Also I find cleaning therapeutic, not quite as much as gardening but almost. Inevitably I found stuff to get rid of or put in a bag to take to the house which makes a bit more room in the cupboards.
Frank brought my hand held Dyson cleaner too so I could vacuum the accumulated dog hairs at last - they were everywhere!

I did find time to take Bella May for a good walk and also write in the Grandma journals; I'm getting stuck into them now. I want to draw little sketches of things on some pages - like my favourite toys, clothes of the era, and my cat etc.

Sabrina sent me some photos and videos of us with Amelia and Lucy when they they were much younger. Lucy was just a baby and Amelia must be going on for 4. We were playing ukulele with them and Amelia was singing along while Lucy was screeching with excitement. Where has the time gone? They are 4 1/2 and 8 now! It made us smile watching them.

I just put in a Morrisons click and collect order which we will pick up tomorrow morning.

It's been a good day.

We're going to watch a film now, ' The Grand Budapest Hotel'
Frank said we'd seen it before but I immediately new he meant 'The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel'! I told him the only word that was the same was Hotel! :-D)))

PS Now that lunatic Trump is recommending the anti Malaria drug to prevent Corona virus! Is he doing it purposely to grab attention? I can't believe the president of the United States is so stupid, not to mention those who worship amd vote for him.
He's a dangerous narcissist!

Tomorrow is hopefully dry and sunny. Get out and get some Vitamin D.
Stay well and safe :-) x
