A bit of a bashing

A bit like soldier beetles but with a patch of red on the tip of the wing casing.  ID needed please but perhaps a Coleoptera.

JJ went to golf this morning.  HURRAH, HURRAH, HURRAH, so I met up with a friend whose husband also went to golf, for a walk around the wood and back to hers for a socially distanced cuppa.

This afternoon I've been out again, looking for butterflies and got a fleeting glimpse of a common blue (I think) but nothing else other than white ones.

Another Zoom meeting tonight, and I am already very behind with Blip.

JJ has sorted my PC.  I think he got HP to talk to Microsoft, or something like that, and they have sorted out their differences.
