Had a good day

Yesterday, Katie got into a little bit of bother at nursery for cheekily sticking her tongue out at her keyworker - they'd been talking about something that happened and Katie said "No, it was like this" with a cheeky grin and a tongue-out. Lesley told her off for it, and Katie very very upset at being in trouble. It rarely happens and consequently she took it very badly, and was sad about it when her and I talked about when I picked her up.
But today, Lesley said to me Katie ran up to her, hand on hip and said "Well Lesley. You're still my best friend now" and gave her a big cuddle. Katie has lots of best friends when you ask her. She always names Brooke and Bobbobs, and recently to her face, Lesley. Important people to her that she understands arent family. On the way home, Katie said to me that she'd had a good day and "didnt get my tongue out". She skipped home clutching the new book bags that they have been given.
She's been playing babies with her doll and Monkey - I found someone who makes gorgeous little bibs on Facebook, and she has the Michael Millar Candy Store fabric that is one of our favourites, so Katie has a dolls' bib in it now, along with a Powell Craft paper dolls' fabric that I love.
Today's photo is something a bit different, the light was dropping, the sky was a deep, quite dark blue, so I thought I'd go with that and embrace it, not hide it!
