Frustrating afternoon yesterday: my internet cut out at 1.15 precisely, just as I was about to hold a video conference with some of my students. An hour later, I gave up watching the modem and headed into school to deal with the inevitable emails and to reschedule the meeting. 

Apparently the outage hit quite a large area, including most of my village and the surrounding area. Thankfully it was restored at some point in the night, so I am backblipping now otherwise I'm sure to forget!
