A brief rest stop

We did a long bike ride today..... about 8Km in total. The ice cream pit stop just over half way made the endurance test manageable for Elinor but we still needed this little hiatus to re energize for the last leg home. Meanwhile Catherine has rescued the three goslings that emerged from their eggs on the roof and safely ushered then 9 floors down to the back lane then, in the company of their mummy’ and daddy goose across Memorial drive to the river. A good day.
