Bridge on the Rue Belliard
Brussels has a lot of lovely buildings, parks and squares, but the bit of the city I see the most when I'm here is rue Belliard. Unfortunately a rather depressing, dark, cold concrete canyon has been created by the buildings on this exceptionally busy road.
The reason I am always in this part of Brussels is that most of my meetings take place in the Jacque Delors building, which is the headquarters of the Committee of the Regions.
I've blipped this photograph as in my opinion it shows that the inclusion of this bridge across rue Belliard does nothing to enhance the look of this street.
