The Fledglings

Quite an apt photograph for today.  A fledgling starling.

I am currently working in a residential children's home for semi independent young people.  This means the next step for them is to get out into the big wide world alone, hopefully with the skills they need to live independently.   Once the lockdown is over they will be on their way.  They may not be able too return to the proverbial nest, but they know they will be supported and can get help if the need it.  They themselves are our fledglings.
