six am

I really liked the light at six am this morning. It really was golden and yet misty. The view across to Herm from the same place but right a little is in extras. On the original photo the clock was very golden, it hasn't transferred onto blip somehow. You can see the visitors marina is completely empty this year (behind the tree) and looks inky. In the distance is one of the local marinas which by contrast is completely full.

The day has been glorious so far. We ate lunch out on the deck and soon had to find some shade. We are about to have some new outdoor tortoises to care for in the garden and so we were planning an area to enclose. 

Miss T continues to work hard at her GCSE studies and I think that this current stream of work will continue until Friday. I think that the school then plan to begin work towards the A level courses. She will be at a different school in September and so I imagine she will continue  to work on the things that her sixth form college has sent to her.

More shops are due to open today. Great excitement that B and Q may be able to open again :) So many things we need from there!
