Visit to the vet

Shiv's tummy is out of sorts again, and she has a funny recurring rash on her inside thigh so a visit to the vet was ordered.  We arrived early so we could take her to the park down the road to try and lower the stress from what she knew was going to happen.

Because of the Covid restrictions, neither of us were allowed to go through to the surgery with Siobhan.  She is such an anxious soul this was a bit of a worry but Pauline soon had her calmed down with lots of quiet, soothing chat and Tellington circles.  

We spent the time waiting by playing ball with Pauline's dog Freckles.  Oh to have the boundless energy that this little one possesses.

Turns out that Shiv has something causing an inflammatory reaction both in her skin and the glands in her groin.  Poor wee soul, no wonder she has been out of sorts.

Chicken and rice diet for a while along with some new meds should see her feeling a lot more chipper soon.  We hope so anyway.
