Time

My 3000th Blip today. Time is quite relevant at the moment. Most of us are stuck inside due to the Coronavirus lockdown. It has, hopefully given us time to reflect on what is important. Hopefully, when it is all over, we can spend time with extended families, and not take the little things in life for granted. We will realise that we did actually like our jobs and be glad to be back, or realise that we have another calling and follow that. 
These are some old dials from watches that I have removed the movements from to make cufflinks. I've about 15 pairs made and must get sorted in selling them soon! Each of these dials have a story to tell, which fascinates me. People had them on their wrist and used them to time things, to know the time and to count down to significant (or inconsequential) events. They had a link with the watches on their wrist, choosing the design themselves if the design was not thoughtfully chosen for them as a gift. They meant something to the original owners - time means something. Hopefully we all realise that now and make the most of the time we have, especially with others.
